Reverse Osmosis (often called “RO”) is the process where impurities are removed from water by pushing it through a semi-permeable membrane (filter). RO is considered the most effective way to filter your drinking water. It helps remove common contaminants like chlorine, fluoride, iron, mercury, microorganisms and mush more.
